Hi, I'm Melissa Skouson.

I am the face behind the flowers of White Cottage Floral. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and while I still think its one of the most beautiful places on earth school and getting married to the man of my dreams brought me to Idaho. I have been in the floral and wedding industry since 2017. I first started out as a delivery driver for a local floral retailer where they taught me the basics. I took a year off when we decided to start our family and I had my son Bryce. In 2019 I decided to go back to work and got a job as a florist for one of the top floral shops in the area. I love every thing about working with flowers and being creative and soon became one of the top designers in the shop.

I spent some time working as the assistant to a wedding florist while being creative in other ways. When I'm not working I enjoy gardening my own cut flowers, making clay earrings and wood burning art. Now I am currently the assistant manager at a beautiful wedding dress shop in Idaho Falls and I get to help brides every day find the dress of their dreams. I absolutely love what I do and love making dreams a reality for so many people.
